Crazy Christmas Light Display

My sister-in-law's parents decorate their house each year with thousands of Christmas lights. They also have many interactive displays that play music and move. They start putting up lights in October and then on December the 1st each night they light it up. They have spent thousands of dollars setting up this display sourcing some of the items from America and they don't make any money from it at all.

Sorry you cant see it well, this is a Christmas train
It goes around the track.

They purchase new lights and ornaments each year. This year they have added a blow up penguin and a few strings of lights, last year they added a Lazar light that makes patterns on their front lawn which Miss E thought was cool. They even climb up on the roof and decorate the top with lights and have a blue star attached to their T.V antennna.

We are hoping to drive around this week sometime and check out more Christmas light displays around our area. I will post some photos when we do.
I still have to make it into town to buy presents for my family, it's crazy in town at this time of year I know why they call it the silly season, but I do have

Miss E's present sorted, so I have one less person to buy for.
Each year I always leave gift buying to the last minute, I don't know why I do this, I guess I'm just not organised enough. I always make the decision each Christmas that I am going to buy presents through out the year but I always seem to get to December and the only person I have brought for is Miss E. Oh well I will have to try harder next year.

The hardest person to buy for is my brother, I have no idea what to buy for him this year which will mean that I have to go looking for the right present for him other than him everyone else is pretty easy to buy for. There are only 15 days till Christmas, I had better get a move on!
