Last night we headed into town to watch the carols by the bay concert. It is a really big event, there would have been close to 50,000 people there, we were lucky to have gotten as close as we did. There were many people on the hill behind us. It was such a fun family night out and I also took Miss E best friend with us. Even the man himself, Santa, made an appearance and sang some carols.
Miss E and her friend wanted to buy some candles for when it got dark. It was going great, we used the girls chip container around the candles to stop them blowing out. Her friends was fine but Miss E was mucking around and her chip packet caught fire. Luckily the man next to her had a bottle of water and Quickly put out the fire. I think it taught her a lesson.

After the carols had been sung, the night ended with a beautiful fireworks display. The only really crazy part of the night was the traffic as we were leaving, it took about 20 minutes to drive out of the parking area.

The weather was perfect for sitting under the starts listening to the music, after the last few days of average weather, it was a lovely evening enjoyed by all. I really love this time of year. I still have to go and buy presents which is my job this week.
